Where/when: 7:30 p.m. Friday at in Southampton
Why go: Come hear scary tales on the patio of the Farmhouse. Park staff will then lead the group through the woods along the haunted trail to the pavillion where refreshments will be served around the campfire. This is geared for kids 6 to 12.
Cost: Free.


Where/when: 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Saturday at .
Why go: This is a fundraiser organized in honor of Robert Nagel and Edward Coombs, two Hatboro-Horsham graduates killed in a car crash. Proceeds will go to the Edward Coombs Foundation and be used to fund scholarships. Awards will be given in age groups from 5 to 60 and over, so all are welcome.
Cost: $20


Where/when: Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m., 2530 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville-Trevose.
Why go:  If you have stuff to sell, bring $20 and a table. If you’re looking for a bargain, bring a few bucks and leave with an unexpected find!
Cost: Well, free to browse. The rest is up to you.

Why go: Bring a project from home and relax with fellow quilters.
Cost: Free.


Where/when: Friday, 6 p.m. at the Lower Bucks campus of Bucks County Community College, 1034 Veterans Highway in Bristol.
Why go: his is the second annual fundraiser for Bucks County Community College scholarships. It will feature art for sale, a “Soup-Off” soup-tasting contest, an Authors Corner with faculty authors Hendrik Booream, James Freeman, and William Pezza. There will also be a jazz concert with the Eric Mintel Quartet.
Cost: Free.


Where/when: Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the , 50 Newtown-Richboro Road in Richboro.
Why go: Lots of kids activities, snacks and important safety information.
Cost: Free.


Where/when: Saturday, starting at 8 a.m., 8 Remy Place in Newtown.
Why go: Wide assortment of home and outdoor items in gently used condition.
Cost: Free to browse, everything else is probably negotiable. 


Where/when: in Newtown, 9 a.m. Saturday.
Why go: This 5K will support A Baby's Breath's effort to open a new Crisis Pregnancy Center in Warminster.
Cost: Free.


Where/when: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., , 1023 Horsham Road, Horsham.
Why go: Demonstrations, food and tours, not to mention a chance to meet your local firefighters.
Cost: Free.
