Homes Burglarized, Vehicles Stolen, Police Report

Copper was stolen from a home in Bristol Township and a Wii system was among the items taken in Middletown.

Police in Bristol and Middletown townships are investigating two burglaries and a stolen vehicle.

Sometime between Saturday and Sunday morning, a home in the 1600 block of Edgely Road in Bristol Township was burglarized. The home, which is under renovations, was entered through a smashed window. Copper pipes from the water and oil heater were stolen, police said.

Middletown investigators are looking into a burglary in the 1000 block of Gillam Avenue in the Langhorne section of the township. Sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Friday, forced entry was made through the front door and jewelry and a Wii video game system were stolen, police reported.

On Friday in the 2400 block of East Lincoln Highway in Middletown, police said a 1993 Chrysler was stolen between 12:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. A 1992 Buick stolen out of Philadelpia was recovered at the scene, police said.
