To better educate the public on joint replacement and the comprehensive orthopedic services offered at the medical center, a brunch will be held following the run and walk. At the brunch, Dr. George Cautilli, the Medical Director at St. Mary Joint Replacement Center and nurse and hip-replacement patient, Rita Demko will speak.

“There are many benefits to living an active lifestyle, and Jog for Joints is a great opportunity for people to get out there and participate," Cautilli said in a press release. "Whether they complete the celebratory walk or compete in the 5K run, the main thing is that they’re out there moving. This event also gives St. Mary the opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of good muscular and skeletal health as well as the comprehensive and advanced orthopedic care that is available right here in our community.”
