Post Your Garage Or Yard Sale On Patch

Do you have a massive amount of used books, dishes, clothes, gadgets, etc. that you hope to sell at your summer garage sale or the neighborhood yard sale? Post the event to Patch to get the word out.

First, make sure you're a registered user on Patch (all you need is a name and an e-mail address) and then you can upload your own event. Once you log in, scroll to the bottom of the home page and select "Put an event on the calendar" under the contribute category.

In the event template, give your sale a name -- possibly with the street name in the title -- and be sure to include the date and time of your event. Enter an address so people know where to go and tell us a little about the sale in the description. Feel free to include specific items you plan to sell or keep it broad (and upload photos of items too). It's up to you!

Finally, select "Garage sale" from the categories list and click "Post My Event." After posting, you can share the link with your neighbors, friends, e-mail groups and listservs to attract more shoppers to the sale and the event will show up in the Levittown Patch events calendar.
