: A Doylestown Township couple—Francis J. Medvedik, 49, and Caren Shanfeld, 45—were charged with criminal conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance, manufacturing a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a child after one of their children called 9-11 to report that they were growing pot in their basement. : An 18-year-old Churchville man, Brian M. Wladyka, is behind bars after allegedly drinking and driving on two separate occasions this month in Hatboro. Wladyka was arrested on May 24 at 6:11 p.m. after officers investigated reports of a possible intoxicated driver on Horsham Road. A patrol officer located and stopped the vehicle on North York Road and found it was the same vehicle and operator from an alleged DUI hit and run in Hatboro earlier this month.
