Slippery Sleet and Rain Expected Tonight

The National Weather Service forecast calls for sleet and rain Tuesday night into Wednesday in Bucks and Montgomery, with snow accumulation into the Lehigh Valley and farther north.

The National Weather Service has warned of Hazardous Weather Conditions for Bucks and Montgomery from tonight and into Wednesday.

The weather service says two to four inches of snow may fall just north, in the the Lehigh Valley.

  • Today A slight chance of rain between 1pm and 4pm, then a slight chance of sleet after 4pm. Cloudy, with a high near 43. North wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Tonight A slight chance of sleet before 7pm, then rain. Low around 33. Calm wind becoming northeast around 6 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New sleet accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
  • Wednesday Rain, mainly before 1pm. High near 43. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
