Snowy Start to Friday Morning
Levittown and the rest of the region has been blanketed with a morning snowstorm that is expected to turn to rain showers in the afternoon.
One day after the promise of getting hit by a snowstorm turned out to be off the mark, Levittown residents woke up Friday morning to find themselves in the midst of steady accumulation.
The National Weather Service reports that the snow will continue through the morning and switch to rain showers in the afternoon, with everything clearing up by tonight. Total accumulations is projected at approximately one inch.
The rest of the weekend will remain sunny, with highs in the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service.
