Think Pink, Take in an Art Show, Enjoy a Stack of Pancakes This Weekend

If you need something to do this weekend, take a look at what the area has to offer.

THINK PINK BENEFIT

Where/when: Wonderkids Learning Center, 479 Stonybrook Dr., Levittown, Sat. at 4 p.m.

What: Play bingo or Texas Hold 'em and help raise money to benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. There is also a candy bar bingo for the kids and food and refreshments provided.

Cost: Free to attend, $25 for poker, $20 for bingo (includes three cards and two specialty cards). 

CHICAGO

Where/when: Bristol Borough High School, 1801 Wilson Ave., Bristol, Thurs.-Fri. 7 p.m., Sat. 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sun. 2 p.m.

What: This Broadway hit is a sensuous tale of sin, corrpution, and all that jazz. Roxie Hart (senior Deirdre French), is an ambitious chorine who murders her lover and tries to get her husband, Amos (sophomore Kevin Crespo) to take the fall. When this fails, she goes to prison, where she meets Velma Kelly (senior Debbie Thompson)- the reigning queen of the headlines, thanks to the brutal murder of her husband and sister. 

Cost: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for students

ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST

Where/when: , 4900 E. Street Rd., Trevose, Sun. 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

What: Feasterville Rotary's annual All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast is back. Support Feasterville Rotary and support your community.

Cost: $6.

MULTI-GENERATIONAL ART SHOW

Where/when: Bensalem Senior Citizens Association, 1850 Byberrry Rd., Bensalem

What: Art will displayed by senior citizens, Bensalem students and the YWCA anti-bullying program.  Everyone is invited to attend.  Great art, music and friends.  Light refreshments will be served at the reception. 

Cost: Free

FARMHOUSE CRAFT SHOW

Where/when: Tamanend Park, 1255 Second Street Pike, Upper Southampton, Fri.-Sat. 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

What: Items are set up in a 18th century farmhouse. Variety of painted slates, wreaths, floral, kids apparal, handmade candy, baked items, jewelry and much more available. 

Cost: Free to attend.
