Austrian skydiver and experienced BASE jumper Felix Baumgartner is expected to execute a parachute jump from space to Earth Sunday afternoon.

Sunday's 22-mile fall is expected to set a world record, the New York Times reports. 

Baumgartner jumped from 97,000 feet in July.
