Artisan Market in Washington Crossing Historic Park

Area residents looking for one-of-a-kind gifts for themselves or others can check out McConkey’s Market on Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Washington Crossing Historic Park.

This new, outdoor market will feature more than 50 vendors selling artisan crafts, up-cycled items, handmade jewelry, original art and photography, pottery, vintage clothing, reclaimed furniture and collectibles. Admission to the market is free and it will be held rain or shine.

McConkey’s Market takes its name from the park’s McConkey Ferry Inn, parts of which date back to 1750. The building represents a typical country inn or tavern of the Revolutionary era. Tradition has it that George Washington ate at the Inn prior to his crossing of the Delaware River.
