Night Trip! Lights in the Parkway
Lights in the Parkway in Allentown opens Friday and runs through Dec. 31.
Lights in the Parkway, a drive-through lights display through Allentown's Lehigh Parkway, opens at 5:30 p.m Friday.
The display features lighted trees, light tunnels and animated displays.
Here's what you need to know, including where to get discounted tickets:
Address: 1700 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Allentown

- Nov. 29 to Dec. 1
- Dec. 6 to Dec. 31
- (Closed Christmas Day.)
Admission: $10 per car, at the gate; $8 in advance

- Wegmans: Allentown, Bethlehem and Nazareth locations
- Allentown City Hall, 435 Hamilton St., Allentown
- Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union in Allentown and Schnecksville
- Allentown Federal Credit Union locations
- Lights in the Parkway website has $2 off admission coupon
- It takes about 25 minutes to drive through the display.
- Horse-drawn carriage rides are available by reservation. For reservations, call 610-730-4973. Eight-passenger Wagonette ride is $15 a person.
- For the second year, bicyclists age 18 and over are permitted to ride through the Lights in the Parkway display.
- A Lights In The Parkway Gift Barn is available at the end of the display.
