From travel baseball and softball teams, cancer patients, and Special Olympics to suicide prevention, Jo-Jo’s owner Debi Kalbach is giving back to the community one cone at a time.

A Levittown native, Debbi grew up in the Elderberry section of Levittown, where her parents were original owners. She graduated from Pennsbury High School and raised her own family in the Thornridge section, not far from where Jo-Jo’s sits today.

She coached her kids through t-ball and baseball, served as team mom and concession stand server, all while running the Jo-Jo’s business. The tradition continues as players from nearby Levittown American flock to Jo-Jo’s for a traditional after-game treat. Jo-Jo’s is also a proud sponsor of many baseball teams in Levittown.

Debbi started her business as a young mom with three small children. At the time, the only thing she knew about ice cream was how to eat it. Over the years she learned to make her own and has been doing it ever since.

Kalbach uses Jo-Jo’s, a Levittown landmark, as a charitable venue every Tuesday night. She loves to watch friends and neighbors gather over ice cream cones for a good cause. It warms her heart to give back to a community that has supported her business for decades. Debbi looks forward to 23 more years of business.

Stop by for some ice cream and to see Debbi and her crew at: 8801 New Falls Road Levittown, PA
