A Message from Brian Jeter, LBCCC Chairman

The Voice Of Business = Your Voice & The Chamber’s Voice….

No this isn’t about the wildly popular NBC show “The Voice.”  And no we can’t get Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and company to co-host a Chamber event anytime soon.

But maybe this is an excellent opportunity to better inform you about the Chamber’s 2013-2014 Strategic Initiatives centered around utilizing our collective business voice to enhance our continued Financial Health, Member Engagement, and Business Advocacy.

In order to have our collective voices heard on these strategic pillars, we must challenge ourselves to increase and enhance our Marketing Communication, Visibility, and Impact both internally and externally.  By doing so, the Chamber can better leverage itself and its membership to be that New Voice of Business.”   But this is not a solo performance, rather it is one made up of a collection of diverse members, each adding a unique perspective and a unique vision, that when combined results in a strong Chamber and an overall improved business community.

This is not an audition of sorts but it is a chance to have your business voice heard in a different, innovative way.  Lead with us by sharing your business successes and challenges which enables the Chamber to shape the New Voice of Business.

Many have heard the adage, “It takes a village.” Perhaps it is time for the village to be heard.  Our members and your business can be that “Village” and be heard on the issues that matter most in order to drive and cultivate a healthy organization and business community.

Your Voice is important to achieve the Chamber’s mission.  We look forward to the dialogue with the goal of driving continued Financial Health, Member Engagement, and Business Advocacy as the Voice of Business.
