A Chamber Success Story

A Chamber Success Story

As a private non-profit trade association, TMA Bucks’ participation as a member of
the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce since 1999 has benefitted our
organization in non-traditional ways.

The chamber’s support of our various transportation projects in Bucks has
immeasurably impacted our own growth in membership. The influence of a well
respected chamber of commerce has been essential to our own success, not only
in bringing our organization’s mission to the attention of businesses that
benefit from transportation projects and programs, but by placing those
businesses squarely behind our efforts.

Of all the civic organizations around Bucks County, TMA staff participates
actively in the Lower Bucks chamber, serving on a variety of committees,
attending events and supporting chamber initiatives. Three current and former
TMA staffers are graduates of the Chamber’s Leadership Program, which has
increased their individual value as effective, enthusiastic employees.

In my professional career of more than 35 years, I have yet to encounter an
organization that does more to enhance the viability of businesses than the
Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce.
