Gerald "Ger" Miller, 66, Served as Marine in Vietnam

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday and Saturday at the Tomlinson Funeral Home in Bensalem followed by a funeral mass Saturday at St Thomas Aquinas Church.

Gerald "Ger" Miller of Croydon, Pa., and formerly of Philadelphia died on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at his residence after fighting a courageous battle against lung cancer. He was 66 years old.

He was respected and loved by everyone he came in contact with; Ger will be sorely missed by everyone, especially his family and neighbors.

Ger worked as a plumber for Wrightstown Plumbing and Heating Co.

He proudly served his country in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

Ger enjoyed doing home remolding, fishing and going to the casinos.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Darlene M. (nee) Haydu Miller; his brothers and sisters, James Miller, Marie Rogers, Veronica Forster and David Miller in addition to many nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

Ger was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Marjorie Kinney Miller; brothers Alexander P., William and Edward Miller and a sister Marjorie Zgura.

Mrs. Miller would like to send a special "thank You" to all his nurses that took care of him while he was on hospice and a very special "Thank You " to Kathe Sobczak, his social worker.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, Pa., 19020 followed by a funeral mass Saturday at 10 a.m., St Thomas Aquinas Church.

Interment at the convenience of the family.
