John Jason Watson Jr., 59, Served on U.S.S. Boulder

Watson was a security guard at the Bristol Welfare Center for 17 years.

John Jason Watson Jr. of Middletown passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at his residence. He was 59.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Watson was a security guard for 17 years at the Bristol Welfare Center.

He also was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the U.S.S. Boulder.

Preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Patricia Watson, he will be greatly missed by his siblings, Anne Minni and her husband, Louis, of Bristol Borough, Mary Lawrence and John Hartman of Langhorne, Kathryn Higgins and her husband, Michael, of Bensalem, Thomas Watson of Levittown, William Watson and his wife, Diane, of Bristol, Joseph Watson of Manhattan, and Frank Watson of Massachusetts. He also is survived by a step-sister, Ia Kuehne; and many nieces and nephews.
