Kenneth Goodman, 65, Former Member of Local Band

Viewings will be held Friday and Saturday from 9:30 at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home in Levittown.

Kenneth A. Goodman of Levittown died on Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 65.

Formerly of the Kensington section of Philadelphia, Ken has been a resident of Levittown since 1982.

He worked as a welder for many years and also was a driver for special needs children.

In earlier years Kenneth was a well-known musician in the area as the front man for Yawa and Cherry.

Ken loved family, food and music and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Ken was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Murphy) Goodman for 44 years.

He was the loving father of Ken Goodman (Jessica) of New York, Terri Rodriguez (John) of Philadelphia, Keith Goodman (Denise) of Feasterville and Randy Goodman (Kristi) of Langhorne.

He was the devoted grandfather of Katie, Elise, Miranda, Shayna, Collin, Sara, Aiden, Sadie, Ella and Henry and will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to call Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 until 11 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
