Margaret Mary Madara-LaPolla, 51, Pennsbury Manor Volunteer

Margaret Mary Madara-LaPolla, of Levittown passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center, she was 51. Born in Bristol, she was a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Conwell Egan High School and Immaculata University. Margaret was a nutritionist with the Bucks County Health Department working with the WIC program for 27 years.

She was a 30 year volunteer with Pennsbury Manor working with the Food Ways program. She enjoyed traveling and visited France, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii and the West Coast.

Daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Susan V. McGill Madara and sister of the late Michael Madara, she is survived by her husband Michael T. LaPolla, her brothers Kevin, Brian and Tommy, her nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Ben, Marty, Danny and Kathleen, and her mother and father-in-Law Jeanne and Nicholas LaPolla.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 6-9 p.m. at the Auditorium at Pennsbury Manor, 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road, Morrisville and on Thursday, Oct. 31, from 8:45- 9:15 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church Levittown Parkway, Levittown.

Her funeral mass will immediately follow Thursday at 10 a.m. with interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
