40-Year-Old Morrisville Man Arrested For DUI

The Middletown Township police said a 40-year-old Morrisville man was arrested.

It happened after a one-car crash on Route 1 northbound at Timber Lane at 11:23 p.m. Wednesday. Shawn Turgyan faces driving under the influence charges, according to police.

Police also reported two people were cited for public drunkenness after a traffic stop.

Police said 48-year-old Levittown resident Richard Faras was riding a bicycle on Oxford Valley Road at Forsythia Drive South without any lights or reflectors at 1:01 a.m. Wednesday.

Faras, of Levittown, was cited for public drunkenness. Patricia Blair, 52, of Yardley, who was walking next to Faras, was also cited for public drunkenness, police said.  

H & M Recycling reported to police that sometime between April 6 and April 20 someone took clothing recycling bins from the parking lots of K-Mart, Lincoln Plaza and Toys R Us. The estimated value of the bins is $5,000.  

Sometime between midnight and 2:30 a.m. on Thursday a man reported to police that someone stole a purple and white bicycle, valued at $50, from his apartment at Racquet Club South Apartments.
