Another PECO Copper Theft Reported & More

Bristol Borough police also reported several other incidents recently.

Another week, another copper theft from a PECO substation in the Levittown area.

Bristol Borough police say they are looking for the culprit who took "several lengths" of copper wire from the substation at the corner of Linden and Mifflin streets.

According to police, the theft was discovered recently and will end up costing PECO $6,000.

DUI

A 35-year-old Otter Street resident was arrested at Route 13 and Bath Street for DUI.

Wednesday, November 21

Warrant Arrest

Steve Brewington Jr., 26, Race Street, was taken into custody after it was discovered he had an active warrant out for his capture. He was released to the custody of the sheriff's office.

Theft

At 2:45 p.m., police responded to a stolen street sign at the intersection of Beaver Street and Fifth Avenue.

Burglary

Numerous items of jewelery and and two knifes were taken from a residence in the 200 block of Dorrance Street.

Vandalism

The side window of a Ford Explorer SUV was smashed overnight on Radcliffe Street.

Thursday, November 22

Theft

Officers reported that $200 was taken from the cash register of the Philly Phamous Cheesesteak location on Farragut Avenue overnight.

Saturday, November 24

Disorderly Conduct

An 18-year-old Hayes Street resident was cited for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief at 3:35 p.m.

Sunday, November 25

Theft

A $125 gray Murray mountain bike was stolen from the 300 block of Cleveland Street. The crime was reported at 6:20 a.m.

Vandalism

A Dodge vehicle parked on Market Street had it's windshield smashed by a brick. A value of the damage was not reported.

Tuesday, November 27

Disorderly Conduct

A 37-year-old Otter Street resident was cited by officers with disorderly conduct at 10:13 p.m. on Washington Street.

Underage Drinking

A 18-year-old Farragut Avenue man was cited for public drunkenness and underaged drinking at 11:53 p.m. at Cedar and Mulberry streets.
