Armed Robber Strikes At Haines Road Business

Bristol Township police said they are looking for an armed robber. 

A robber, armed with a knife, struck at a Haines Road business in Levittown, according to police. It happened at 5:38 p.m. on Dec. when a robber entered the store while the cashier screamed and ran to the back of the store. The man then opened the register and took undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction, police said. The robber was described as a tall, thin, black man.

Several thefts were also reported. 

Police said sometime between 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 26 and 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 27 someone entered the front door of a location on Bittersweet Road in Levittown and took electronics. It was reported at 10:34 p.m. on Dec. 27.

A UPS package was stolen from the front porch of a home on Verdant Road in Levittown, according to police. The package contained a pair of jeans worth $110. It was reported at 9:46 a.m. on Dec. 27. 

A Dell computer and monitor, worth $300, was stolen from a home on Holly Drive in Levittown, police reported at 12:57 p.m. on Dec. 27. 

Sometime between 3 p.m. on Dec. 26 and 10 a.m. on Dec. 27 and took a laptop computer, a drill, a laser line, and a GPS unit from a parked vehicle. It happened at Indian Red Road in Levittown at 3:06 p.m. on Dec. 27. The approximate value of the items was $1,600.

Police said numerous tools, worth $500, were stolen from a 1997 Ford that was parked at Christy Avenue in Croydon. It was reported sometime between 7 a.m. on Dec. 25 and 6 a.m. on Dec. 27.
