Armed Robbery at Windsor Pharmacy

Windsor Pharmacy at U.S. 13 & Haines Road was robbed at gunpoint around 10:30 a.m. Monday morning, according to police.

Police confirmed a robbery took place Monday morning at the Windsor Pharmacy on Haines Road, down the street from the intersection at Route 13.

According to Bristol Township Lt. Terry Hughes, a heavyset black man entered the store at approximately 10:35 a.m. with a black handgun. He took an unspecified amount of cash and drugs, then fled the scene on foot to the nearby Junewood neighborhood, Hughes said.

The assailant is 5-foot-9 and in his mid-20s to mid-30s, according to Hughes.

Employees at the store declined to comment on the incident. Hughes confirmed that the pharmacy had been robbed before.
