Bristol Township police reported three burglaries, one robbery and one arrest.
Bensalem resident 38-year-old Dennis Lawson was arrested, according to police. It happened at Summit Avenue in Croydon at 8:47 p.m. on Nov. 26. Police said Lawson was charged with simple assault and related offenses in connection with assaulting another person. He was arraigned at District Court No. 4 with bail set at $250,000. Lawson was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
Police said a 27-year-old woman was walking when a robber pushed her face to the ground, stole her cell phone after it fell out of her pocket and ran off. It happened at Plumbridge Drive in Levittown at 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 27. The robber was described as a black man, wearing sweat pants, a wool hat and a black-hooded sweatshirt.
A burglar took jewelry and cash, valued at about $3,635, from a home on Radcliffe Street in Bristol. Police said it happened sometime between 12:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Nov. 23, but was reported at 10:59 p.m. on Nov. 24.
Jewelry valued at $1,550, was stolen from a home on Louise Avenue in Croydon after police said a burglar gaind entry through a rear door. It happened sometime between 7:40 a.m. and 4:05 p.m. on Nov. 26.
A fur coat, valued at $5,000, was stolen from a home on Dixon Avenue in Bristol after police said a burglar gained entry through a basement window. It was reported at 9:17 p.m. on Nov. 26.
