Body Found in Delaware River, Police Say

A body was found in the Delaware River in Bristol Township, according to police.

The body of a man was found in the Delaware River in Bristol Township on Saturday, according to police.

An article on PhillyBurbs said a boater found the body around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday behind Dow Chemical on the Pennsylvania side of the Delaware River. 

Bristol Township Detective Tim Fuhrmann told the publication that the man was found wearing jeans, a Phillies T-shirt and a blue hooded sweatshirt and had been in the water for some time. The Bucks County Coroner Dr. Joseph Campbell told PhillyBurbs that investigators think the man was at least 40 years old.
