Bristol Man Charged for Pharmacy Holdup

Jeffrey Eberhart's Eagles gear played a major factor in his arrest by Middletown police Tuesday morning.

A Bristol man's signature style ended up being the cause for his arrest Tuesday  by Middletown police for allegedly robbing the Oxford Valley Pharmacy on Sunday, according to phillyburbs.com.

Jeffrey Eberhart's Eagles gear, including a white Chad Lewis jersey and black hat, looked familiar to parents who recognized him from drop-offs at his child's elementary school. Many calls to the Middletown police department led the detectives to Eberhart's home on Horseshoe Lane in Bristol, according to the article.

Police say Eberhart pointed a black handgun at employees behind the Oxford Valley Pharmacy counter Sunday and demanded OxyContin pills. The article says Eberhart admitted to being addicted to the powerful pain medication for more than 20 years.
