Bristol Police: Bensalem Man, 26, Arrested

Bristol Township police reported several crimes including one arrest. 

Zachary Young, 26, of Bensalem, was arrested on Bath Road in Bristol on a local warrant and sent to Bucks County Prison according to police. It happened Dec. 20 at 12:45 a.m.

Police said sometime overnight on Dec. 20, someone broke into a Nissan parked on New Chestnut Street in Bristol. A GPS system and adapter, valued at $129, were stolen. It was reported Dec. 20 at 9:47 a.m.

According to police, sometime overnight on Dec. 20, someone broken into a 2004 Chevrolet parked on Ford Road in Bristol and slashed both front tires. A briefcase, laptop computer and other items were stolen from the vehicle. The approximate value is $2,100. It was reported Dec. 20 at 2:05 p.m.

A 2002 Dodge parked on Pennsylvania Avenue in Croydon was broken into sometime between 10 p.m. on Dec. 19 and 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 20, police said. A portable Play Station, car chargers, cash and two movies were stolen from the vehicle. The approximate value of the items is $440. It was reported Dec. 20 at 10:17 p.m.

A 1998 Subaru, bearing Pennsylvania registration No. EHS0847 and parked on Schoolhouse Lane in Levittown, was stolen sometime between 6:50 p.m. and 9:38 p.m. on Dec. 21 according to police. The value of the vehicle is unknown. The incident was reported to police Dec. 21 at 9:38 p.m.

In Fairless Hills, police said they received a report of an iron drainage gate being removed from a location on Wistar Road. It occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on Dec. 20 and 7 a.m. on Dec. 21. The value of the gate is $300. It was reported Dec. 21 at 12:26 p.m.

A laptop computer and other items were stolen from a 2000 Ford parked on Wynfield Avenue in Bristol police said. It happened sometime overnight on Dec. 21. The approximate value of the items is $2,100. It was reported Dec. 21 at 1:50 p.m.
