Police Say Break-Ins Happened Over Course Of Week
Bristol Township police said a series of break-ins over the course of a week remain unsolved.
Late Friday night theives broke into a 1999 Pontiac parked on Ritter Avenue in Bristol. Police said they left the car but took a compound bow and its arrows from inside the vehicle. The bow is valued at $1000.
Several other incidents of theft happened earlier last Friday.

Sometime after 11 p.m. an someone broke into a vacant home at Hilltop Avenue and stole a piece of construction equipment worth approximately $120. An unattended snow-blower was also taken from a neighboring home at Hilltop Avenue, police said.
In addition to the string of break-ins, a 1990 Chevrolet was stolen while parked on Arthur Avenue. Police said that the auto theft happened Friday before 8 a.m.

Police officials also reported several incidents of vandalism. One incident, on Bittersweet Road, involved a 1992 Toyota. Police said its windows were smashed, tires slashed and sugar poured into its gas tank.
Sometime midday Saturday a burglary took place in a residence at Marion Avenue in Levittown. Police said the unknown suspect slipped in through a living room window and stole a laptop valued at $500. Another laptop was also stolen that day at a different residence on Bath Road. The approximate value was said to be over $1,000.
A vandal cut into a chain-link fence on PECO property off Edgley Road in Levittown. The incident occurred Saturday at 1:47 a.m. The vandal cut a hole into the fence and proceeded to steal containers from the property which contained pieces of copper and loose cable.
More car break-ins happened Saturday night, police said. A purse was stolen from the inside of a parked car on Pumpkin Hill Road in Levittown sometime around 4 p.m. The purse and its contents were valued about $140.
In addition to the string of burglaries, police said they made several arrests as a result of bench warrants.
