A CVS clerk foiled a would-be robbery, according to Bristol Township police.
It happened at the at 3:18 p.m. on Dec. 9.

Police said the robber handed the cashier a bottle of water and a demand note. The note stated he had a gun and would shoot if the cashier did not empty the register. Instead of handing over money, the cashier called the store manager.
The robber fled on foot. He was described as a white man with short red or brown hair, who was wearing a black crew neck sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.

In a separate incident, the robber was able to flee with money.
An armed robber struck at a BP Gas Station in Levittown at 10:40 p.m. on Dec. 9.
Police said the armed robber entered the station and demanded money. The cashier complied, and the man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber was described as a black man, armed with a handgun, wearing a black ski mask, black gloves and light-colored clothing.
