Burglar Breaks Into Croydon Home, Steals Medicine

Bristol Township police said they arrested a 48-year-old man for assault and harassment. Warren Bennett, of Bristol, was arrested on Green Lane in Bristol on Thursday. His bail was set at $10,000.

Someone broke into a home on State Road in Croydon. Bristol Township police said the thief forced open the front door and took loose cash and an unidentified amount of medication. Police said it happened between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Several other thefts were also reported on Thursday, police said.

Sometime overnight someone broke into a 2002 Nissan that was parked outside of Naomi Court in Levittown. Police said the thief ripped out the car's GPS system, valued at $120.

Two trailers parked on Emilie Road in Levittown were broken into overnight Thursday. The burglars removed several sets of industrial construction tools. Police said the approximate value of the tools are about $3,300.

Police said a Sony Playstation 3 gaming system was stolen out of a home on Otter Street sometime before 9 a.m. Thursday. Police valued the system at $299.

Someone broke into a 1990 Lincoln that was parked outside a home on Marion Avenue in Levittown between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Thursday. Police said that individual proceeded to remove both the handicap placard hanging from the rear-view mirror as well as the faceplate for the car stereo. The items were valued at $265.

Police report that a 2006 Buick parked on Blueridge Drive was broken into sometime between Wednesday and Thursday. Only loose change from the center console was reported to be missing.

Police said one instance of vandalism was also reported on Thursday.

Sometime overnight someone scratched the hood and side panel of a 2004 Pontiac. The vehicle was parked outside a residence on Newportville Road in Croydon when it was vandalized. Police said the value of the damage exceeds $1,500.
