Burglar Steals Grandfather Clock
A Levittown criminal tries to take time, makes off with high-priced clock.
Bristol Township police said a burglar crept into a Levittown home on Russett Lane last Friday to steal a grandfather clock. The criminal was able to gain access to the building from the rear door. The clock was valued at just over $3,000.
The police report several additional incidents of theft last week.
Sometime Thursday night on Millcreek Road in Levittown a burglar broke into another residence, stealing a shotgun in addition to several small electronic items. Police estimated the value of the items at a total of $4,000.

Another home break-in was reported Saturday night. A $300 laptop was stolen out of a home on Kenwood Drive in Levittown sometime after 9 p.m.
In addition to the listed break-ins, Bristol Township police reported seven arrests within the last seven days.

Police said Samuel Butricia of Croydon, 32, was arrested last Sunday on a local warrant. Butrica's bail was set at $25,000.
Police said Jason Fowler of Croydon, 28; Lawrence Martin, of Levittown, 39; and John VanHorn of Bristol, 39, were all arrested Saturday on separate bench warrants.
Tamara Robinson of Bristol, 28, was arrested early Friday morning on a bench warrant, according to police.
Craig Shirtcliffe of Fairless Hills, 31, was arrested Monday afternoon on a fugitive warrant, according to police.
Police said Michael Marozzi of Bristol, 47, was arrested on a Protection From Abuse violation Monday. Marozzi's bail was set to $15,000.
A string of thefts occurred last Thursday, according to police.
A industrial concrete mixer and an air compressor were stolen from property on Fifth Avenue in Croydon. The estimated value of both items were over $10,000.
Police said a thief removed a commercial dishwasher from Sagolla Construction on Patterson Avenue in Levittown. The sanitizer dishwasher, valued at $3,100, was stolen from the property after hours some time Wednesday night into Thursday.
Eleven grated storm drains, valued at $2,200, were taken from a property on Phyllis Ave.
Police said sometime late Thursday night a thief entered a shed in the rear of a Bristol home on Ritter Avenue and proceeded to steal several tools and a bicycle. The combined total of the items is valued at $2,375.
An air conditioning unit was removed from a residence on Turner Street in Bristol. The unit was valued at just over $1,000.
Police said several instances of vandalism were also reported last week.
Police said one or more vandals damaged a 1997 Ford on Gridiron Road in Levittown. The damage included the rear passenger side bumper while the car was parked and unattended. The damage is estimated at $200.
Police said a 2009 Honda was deliberately scratched on both sides Monday night. The car was parked off of Welsford Road in Fairless Hills.
