Passenger Dead in Route 13 Accident

A driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital after an accident on Route 13. The Southbound lane closed at the Tyburn Road exit while the scene is investigated.

Phillyburbs.com reports that a Morrisville man has died after a car he was traveling in on Route 13 flipped over a guardrail after the Tyburn Road ramp and landed in a small creek.

Rescue crews cut the driver and a passenger out of the car and sent them to the hospital with critical injuries, according to phillyburbs.com.

Southbound Route 13 has been closed at the Tyburn Road exit while the accident is investigated. Northbound Route 13 remains open to traffic.
