Pennsylvania State Police investigated a two-car T-bone crash that caused one vehicle to flip a number of times.

It happened on Interstate 95 just past the Route 1 Langhorne exit at 3:50 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses said the driver of a Honda was traveling at high speed while entering I-95 from Route 1 southbound when he lost control, began to fish tail and smashed into the passenger’s side of a Toyota heading northbound on I-95.

The T-bone crash caused the Toyota to flip two times before coming to rest on its roof.

Troopers identified the driver of the Honda as 18-year-old Christopher Glennie of Fallsington. Philadelphia resident Irina Stolyarova, 42, was the driver of the Toyota, troopers said.

Stolyarova was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for unknown injuries by Penndel-Middletown Rescue. Witnesses said Glennie did not appear to be injured.

Troopers cited Glennie for careless driving.

While the driver of the Toyota was able to free herself, a Good Samaritan rescued two newborn puppies that were traveling in the car.

A Good Samaritan made a daring rescue after the crash.

The man rescued two eight-week-old puppies that were traveling in the Toyota, witnesses said.

Witnesses said the man freed one pup from the vehicle and chased after another puppy that ran across the highway, down an embankment and into the woods.

Both puppies escaped injuries.

Domino effect?

A separate crash happened 15 minutes later on the same stretch of road in traffic caused by the previous crash, troopers said.

Three vehicles were involved in that crash.

Troopers said a vehicle driven by Cecilia Virzi, 45, of Ewing, N.J., entered the center lane of I-95 from the right lane when she struck one vehicle. That car then struck another vehicle.

Virzi was transported to St. Mary’s with a minor chest injury. No other injuries were reported.

Troopers said Virzi was cited for a lane violation.
