Seventh Time Car Parked At Langhorne Home Struck

For the seventh time, a driver slammed into the a car parked in front of the same home in Langhorne.

For the seventh time, a driver slammed into the a car parked in front of the same home in Langhorne.

According to witnesses, it happened in the 200 block of Maple Avenue in Langhorne on Thursday.

After striking a Toyota, the Volkswagen spun full circle before coming to rest in the northbound lanes facing southbound. The car’s right wheel at the axle was broken and all the airbags in the vehicle deployed in the impact.

A woman, who was a passenger in the striking car, was treated at the scene by members of the Penndel-Middletown Rescue squad. She then declined further treatment. The mother of Volkswagen driver and passenger arrived on the scene as the ambulance departed.

The owners of the Toyota said they have had seven vehicles struck in front of their home.

There was no immediate word on what caused the crash. Any witnesses are asked to call Sgt. Dineo at the Langhorne Borough Police Department.
