Crews Repsond To Smokey Fire At Sheraton Hotel

Reports: Fire Started In Basement Laundry Room

Several crews responded to reports of a fire at the Sheraton Hotel in Langhorne.

It happened in the basement level of the 15-story hotel on 400 Oxford Valley Road Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, the fire started in the laundry room with smoke extending to the ceiling area, activating the basement sprinkler system.

There was also minor smoke in the lobby area, which leads to some guest evacuations, according to reports.

Firefighters from Fairless Hills, Falls, Yardley-Makefield, Langhorne-Middletown, and Levittown No. 1 were among those that responded to the incident.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known and remains under investigation.
