Deadly Assault Followed Fender Bender in Bar Parking Lot, Police Say

A fender bender in the Puss 'n Boots Tavern parking lot led to the fatal assault of a 74-year-old Fairless Hills man, police say.

Kevin Kenny, 49, of Fairless Hills was arraigned in Falls Township and charged with homicide on Monday in the case of a 74-year-old man who died after the two had a confrontation in the parking lot of the Puss 'n Boots Tavern on Trenton Road in May, according to Philly.com.

Police said Kenny assaulted John Fleisch of Fairless Hills after Fleisch's truck bumped Kenny's truck causing minor damage, according to PhillyBurbs.

Police said Fleisch was knocked to the ground and then hospitalized until he died July 26 of massive head injuries. Kenny is jailed in Bucks County Prison.
