Three people charged with a Bristol musican's death could receive the death penalty if found guilty when they go to trial.
Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler painted a cold-blooded, cash-hungry and cruel picture of the three Trenton men accused of murdering Danny DeGennaro during a botched robbery last December, NJ.com reports.
Breon Powell, 20, Jermaine Jackson, 19, and Kazair Gist, 18, were charged with slaying the 56-year-old musician in December. The three men have pleaded not guilty.
Judge Robert Wagner, during a preliminary hearing in Doylestown on Thursday, ordered the trial to begin later this year.
Danny DeGennaro, 56, was found dead inside his family home on Crabtree Drive in Levittown on Dec. 28. .
