Middletown Township Police Blotter: 2/28

The Middletown Township police reported the following arrests.

A 21-year-old Richboro man was taken into custody for falsely identifying himself to authorities, police said. Mark Dean Clayton was taken into custody following a traffic stop on Veterans Highway in the area of Frosty Hollow Road at 11:33 p.m. Thursday, police said. Clayton has an active bench warrant for a parole violation and was turned over to the Bucks County Sherriff’s Department.  

Police said officers responded to Racquet Club Apartments at 1970 Veterans Highway for a domestic disturbance at 1:18 p.m. Friday. Kenyon Jason Tyson, 34, of Langhorne, was cited for criminal mischief for damaging a door.

A 31-year-old Langhorne man was arrested following a domestic dispute on Oxford Drive. Police said it happened at 2:03 p.m. Saturday. Police said Mark Barcia was charged with simple assault. Judge Benz arraigned him and bail was set at $25,000. He was subsequently arrested at 5:54 p.m. and arraigned by Judge Falcone who set bail at $50,000. He was then transported to Bucks County Prison.

Police also said they are investigating several other crimes.

After a report, police said a 22-year-old Levittown was cited for public intoxication in the food court of the Oxford Valley Mall at 5:48 p.m. Friday. Nicholas Cardacin was arraigned by Judge Falcone and remanded to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $500 bail, police said.

Michelle Kurth, 45, of Levittown, was cited for public intoxication after a report of a possible burglary on Cliff Road at 1:58 a.m. Sunday, police said.

A 39-year-old Langhorne woman was cited for retail theft at the Target Store on 2331 East Lincoln Highway. Cheryl Trudel took $49.98 worth of merchandise, police said.

Police said Paul Smith, 31, of Levittown, was arrested for retail theft at Sears in Oxford Valley Mall. Police said it happened at 5:15 p.m. Friday and $328.49 worth of merchandise was taken.

A 21-year-old Bristol woman was cited for retail theft at Sears in Oxford Valley Mall. Police said Tiffany Duffy took $84.99 worth of merchandise on Saturday.

Pants, boots and a belt valued at $144 were reported stolen from Sears in Oxford Valley Mall. Police said it happened at 5:06 p.m. Sunday and said the suspect is reported to be a Hispanic male.   

The rear driver’s side window of a vehicle was smashed while it was parked on North Hawthorne Avenue sometime between Wednesday and Friday, police said.  It is unknown at this time the value of the damage to the vehicle. 

Integrity Auto reported to police the passenger side window of a 2000 Ford E-350 box truck and the driver’s side window of a Ford F-250 were both smashed out. It happened at 2023 East Lincoln Highway in Langhorne sometime overnight Saturday into Sunday, police said. The value of the damage to the vehicles was not immediately known.

Police said the William Penn Fire Company responded to an alarm at a laundry room at Racquet Club Apartments at 2:13 p.m. Saturday after someone pulled the alarm, sprayed soda throughout the room and discharged a fire extinguisher. The value of the damage to the property was not immediately known.
