Driver of Truck Found in Canal Located Safe
The man who drove his pick-up truck in the Delaware Canal in Bristol Borough Thursday has been located by police.
The man who was behind the wheel of an older pick-up truck that ended up in the Delaware Canal in Bristol Borough pre-dawn on Thursday has been located, police said.
The man did not suffer serious injury and told police he went home to change his wet clothes after the incident, police told Patch.
What lead to the truck ending up in the water remains under investigation. Police said they are unsure whether man will face charges.

Bristol resident Antonio Harvey told Patch Thursday morning he believes saw the driver of the pick-up walk past him shortly after the crash.
The incident happened near Delaware Canal Lagoon Park Fountain off Jefferson Avenue. Police and fire crews used a boat to search the shallow water around the truck for the man, unsure whether he was ejected in the crash.
