Early Morning Fire Hits Blue Ridge Home
A home in the Levittown section of Bristol Township was struck by a fire early Monday morning.
No one was injured in a fire that damage the house at 64 Border Rock Road in the Levittown section of Bristol Township early Monday morning.
Fire crews responded to the blaze at 2:02 a.m. and arrived to heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the dwelling, Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.
The cause of the fire remains undermined and the investigation is ongoing. the fire appeared to have emanated from the back of the house, Dippolito said.

An adult male was the only occupant home and was alerted to the fire by a smoke detector, the fire marshal said. The smoke detector was key and likely saved the man's life, he added.
The Red Cross assisted the man with clothing and food vouchers, Dippolito said.
