Edgely Fire Company Holds 'Fire Prevention Night' Tonight

First responders to educate public on fire safety.

Edgely Fire Company is holding their annual Fire Prevention Night event tonight.

The purpose of the event is to educate the public on fire safety tips and will include live music, games and demonstrations. 

The highlight of the evening includes a World Trade Center Memorial unveiling. Also there will be live music by The Seven Band and Cairngorm Pipes & Drums Highland Bagpipe Band, among others.

Bristol Township fire and police departments, including the K-9 unit, will be on hand for demonstrations. Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers is also expected to attend.

A firefighter competition, live burns and other fire safety measures will also be presented.

The festivities start at 6 p.m. at 1200 Edgely Avenue in Levittown.
