One Party Crasher Waives Hearing; Charges Withdrawn Against Another

The two teens made legal moves Tuesday in court. Both were arrested in August in connection with a robbery at a Falls Township party.

A tale of two teens.

Harold Jackson Jr.,19, of Bristol, who was arrested in August in connection with an armed robbery at a Falls Township underage drinking party, had all charges that were lodged against him withdrawn on Tuesday, court records indicate. Prosecutors originally charged him with conspiracy, four counts of robbery and theft by unlawful taking.

The second young man charged in the crime, Marquis Bell, 18, of Bristol, waived his preliminary hearing. He now faces four counts of robbery and four additional counts of theft by unlawful taking as the case is moved to county court in Doylestown for trial.

Bell is expected to plead guilty in the incident as part of a deal struck with county officials, PhillyBurbs.com said Tuesday.

The party took place on Hedgerow Drive in the township in August. Police told KYW Newsradio that a group of 10 young people were allegedly drinking alcohol while the homeowners were out of town. All of the party attendees were underage.

Subjects then crashed the party and stole wallets and cellphones, the radio station reported.

No trial date has been set for Bell.
