Falls Man Steals $3K of Tools From Neighbor's Shed

On Oct. 31, 2012 between  10 and 11:55 a.m. on Vermont Lane, a homeowner went out to the store and when they returned they found their rear bedroom window broken. It is unknown what has been taken at this time.


On Oct. 26, 2012  at 11:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2200 block Blair Drive to investigate a theft that had taken place within the past 24 hours. The victim reported that several tools including a power washer, air compressor, leaf blower, table saw, tool box, weed wacker and gas can were taken from the shed in his back yard. The total estiamted value of the stolen tools is $3,045.

The victim advised police that the lock on the door to the shed had been cut so that the actor could access the tools. He also told police that he had received word that a subject that resides on Barton Drive might have been responsible.

Officers made contact with that subject who gave them permission to look in his shed. After police observed tools that they believed were the victim's tools, the subject gave permission for the victim to enter his shed and identify the tools. When the victim positively identified the tools as his own, the subject was taken into custody. The subject admitted to driving his vehicle behind the victim's shed and taking all of the tools.


Oct. 31, 2012 at about 9:42 a.m., officers were dispatched to an apartment in the Wellington Woods apartment complex for the report of a domestic dispute. While enroute to the scene, officers became aware of a warrant for the defendant. On the scene, the complainant identified the defedant, who was then taken into custody without incident. The defendant was reaching in the trunk of his car. An officer frisked him and found a loaded pistol magazine on his person. The defendant gave officers verbal permission to search his car in which they found a black Colt brand .40 cliber semiautomatic pistol. The defendant was taken before Judge Vislosky and was sent to Bucks County Prison on $200,000.00 bail.
