Fire Decimates Falls Township Mobile Home

A early morning fire destroyed a mobile home in Fairless Hills on Friday.

A raging fire destroyed a mobile home in the 100 block of Hover Road in the Fairless Hills section of Falls Township early Friday morning.

Fire crews from around Levittown were dispatched to the mobile home park just before 2 a.m. and arrived to find fire coming from the scene, emergency reports stated.

Crews immediately went into service and were able to stop the flames, reports indicated. The fire claimed one mobile home and a neighboring unit suffered heat damage.

According to a report on PhillyFireNews.com, one person was treated by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad for a laceration wound.

Restoration crews spend much of Friday working to make the scene safe. Rock salt was need to melt the ice that accumulated on the nearby roadways during the fight to stop the early morning blaze.

As of press time, the Falls Township fire marshal has not indicated what caused the blaze.

I would like to say it was amazing watching these future Hall of Famers at 8 years old fightingRead More through the weather and playing the 5 games in 2 days. They were tougher than many of the adults! I remember my days with Levittown American Little League playing in the 8-9 year old division and these boys would have taken us out! It would not have been close. Great Job to all and Congrats to Team Neshaminy...do you know how hard it is to say that as a Pennsbury Grad? I look forward to the next tournament!
