Police told Patch that they suspected the speed of the striking vehicle was considered a factor in the deadly wreck.

A reporter from the Bristol Pilot newspaper said "silence reigned" over the crowd at the diner after it was announced that the popular waitress and mother to a 5 and 8 year old had passed away.

Byrne lived in the area her entire life and attended St. Mark Elementary School and Harry S. Truman High School. She later went to Temple University, according to her obituary.

"The family request that donations be made to The Olivia and Chase Byrne Education Fund, at Citizens Bank, 4565 New Falls Road., Levittown, Pa 19056, Attention: Jamie White," the obituary states.

I would like to say it was amazing watching these future Hall of Famers at 8 years old fightingRead More through the weather and playing the 5 games in 2 days. They were tougher than many of the adults! I remember my days with Levittown American Little League playing in the 8-9 year old division and these boys would have taken us out! It would not have been close. Great Job to all and Congrats to Team Neshaminy...do you know how hard it is to say that as a Pennsbury Grad? I look forward to the next tournament!
