Eric Beck was killed when an intoxicated Charles Horrocks struck him along New Falls Road in Bristol Township in winter.

The 24-year-old man who struck and killed Eric Beck with his dark-colored Audi along New Falls Road in Bristol Township plead guilty to homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, failure to stop and render aid and several connected charges Thursday in court, PhillyBurbs.com reported.

Bristol Township resident Charles Horrocks, who had a suspended license at the time, struck 36-year-old Beck as he walked home from a nearby bar where he was celebrating with his brothers. His mother, Michelle, was driving to pick him up when she discovered his body in the roadway.

"I said 'Eric,' and he said 'Mom, squeeze my hand.' That was it, that's all he said to me," Beck said to NBC 10 in the days following the crash.
