Items Stolen From Vehicles, Windows Smashed, Tires Slashed Across Area

Police agencies in the Levittown area reported several crimes to vehicles this past week.

Over a dozen incidents ranging from tire slashings to vehicle theft were reported in Bristol, Falls and Middletown townships recently.

Friday, December 7

Vandalism

The tire on a Nissan were damaged in the Bloomsdale-Fleetwing neighborhood in Bristol Township.

Saturday, December 8

Theft From Vehicles

A 2008 Ford and a 2007 Honda were entered and had several items missing in the Langhorne section of Middletown Township overnight. Between the two cars, thieves made off with an iPod, $350 Garmen GPS, a Coach purse and several other items were taken from the 700 block of Parker Street.

Vandalism

Bristol Township police responded to Veterans Highway to find two slashed tires on an Acura just after 1:24 p.m. The damage is estimated to be $250.

Two tires on a Hyundai were slashed overnight on Elmhurst Avenue in Bristol Township. The damage is valued at $200.

Vandalism

In the 5300 block of New Falls Road in Bristol Township the back window of a Buick was smashed in the early evening hours. The owners told police the window will cost $300 to replace.

Sunday, December 9

Theft From Vehicle

An unlocked 2009 Toyota was entered and a DVD player and $175 satellite radio were taken overnight from the 100 block of Forsynthia Drive in the Levittown section of Middletown Township.

Theft From Vehicle

A Tom Tom GPS worth $125 was taken from a 2008 Chevrolet parked on Quaker Hill Road in the Levittown section of Middletown overnight.

Monday, December 10

Theft From Vehicle

A Chevrolet was broken into and a GPS and loose change were taken from Iroquoas Road in the Levittown section of Bristol Township. The items were valued at $130.

Tuesday, December 11

Vehicle Theft

At 1:25 p.m., Falls Township police responded to Twig Lane to investigate the theft of a white 2000 Chevrolet minivan with the tag YZZ-3027. The vehicle was worth $4,000.

Attempted Vehicle Theft

Someone forced entry into a Ford F-250 pickup truck and attempted to steal the vehicle from the Sheraton Hotel on Oxford Valley Road in Falls Township. The thief was unable to start the vehicle. However, about $500 worth of damage was done to the truck.

Vandalism

The rear deck window of a 2003 Cadillac was smashed with an unknown object between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Shadywood Lane in the Levittown section of Middletown Township.

Thursday, December 13

Theft from Vehicles & Entered Vehicles

Seven vehicles throughout the Colbolt Ridge section of Levittown in Middletown Township were entered and were missing items. Several other vehicles in the section are suspected of being enter.
