The jogger, a 63-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by the Penndel-Middletown Rescue Squad, Forman told Patch.

The driver who struck the man will not be cited as Forman said the incident is just an accident. The driver mistakenly thought the man had already jogged past by the time they went to back out.

Firefighters from the William Penn Fire Co. also responded to the call, which was received at 9:42 a.m.
