Robbers Wanted Victim's Loose Pocket Change

A Levittown resident was the victim of an assault and robbery, Bristol Township police said.

Police said the victim was robbed by held up by two unidentified African-American men on Marion Avenue on Monday night. He was punched in the face several times. When the assailants found that the victim had only loose change, they proceeded to briefly pummel him more before fleeing on foot.

Police reported several other incidents of robbery and theft during the week.

On Saturday night, police said a 29-year-old woman was robbed from behind while exiting her vehicle on Airacobra Street in Levittown. The victim told police the assailants poked an unknown object against her back and demanded she give him all her money.

In addition, police said a string of stolen vehicles were reported between the Friday and Saturday nights.

A 1995 Toyota parked on Bath Road was stolen Friday night sometime before 7 a.m., according to police.

Nine minutes later, an unknown individual broke into a garage on Pumpkin Hill Road in Levittown and stole a 2002 Yamaha valued at approximately $5,000, police said.

Sometime at about 1 a.m. the same night a 1995 Ford was also stolen from outside a residence on Newportville Road in Croydon, according to authorities.

According the Bristol police, several vehicles were also vandalized over the weekend. Two Chevrolets, one parked on Parkview Avenue in Bristol and one on Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, were targeted. Combined damages for the two vehicles exceed $2,000, police said.

Also, sometime Sunday night into Monday police said thieves broke into a secured parking lot for the Verizon building on New Falls Road in Levittown. The croooks ran off with six boxes of industrial wire with estimated at a value of $500.

There was also an arrest over the weekend. Police said Paul Listokin, 35, was arrested at about 9 p.m. Saturday. Listokin was charged with simple assault and harassment relating to violating a Protection From Abuse order. Bail was set for Listokin at $15,000 for the PFA violation and an additional $15,000 bail for the charge of assault.
