A Levittown man was arrested for stealing jewelry from a Richboro home while working for a professional cleaning service, according to a recent Northampton Township Police Department blotter.
Brian Horan, 20, was taken into custody at a family member's home in Falls Township around 8 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, according to a police blotter released on Sept. 21.
He was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. These charges stem from an incident on Sept. 5, when while working for a professional cleaning service, Horan stole a diamond ring from a jewelry box in a home he was cleaning in the 100 block of Carol lane. The ring had an estimated value of $6,000.
Horan was brought to the Northampton Township Police Department headquarters where he was processed before being arraigned before District Judge William Benz. Horan was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 (10 percent) bail.
