Man Arrested In Domestic Dispute, Thefts Reported

Middletown Township police said two arrests and several other crimes were reported.

Police said Morrisville resident Charles Bevan, 47, was arrested after a domestic dispute on Sunday. It happened on North Street at 1:05 p.m. Sunday. Police said Bevan faces domestic assault charges.

Police said 51-year-old Levittown resident Mura Balu was arrested for retail theft after $147.96 worth of merchandise was stolen from Macy’s in Oxford Valley Mall at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.

Brittney Gerwig, 19, of Langhorne, was cited for disorderly conduct after an incident at the food court in Oxford Valley Mall at 6:40 p.m. Friday, police said.

Police said two burglaries were reported.

Police said tools, valued at approximately $600, were reported stolen from a shed on Jefferson Avenue sometime between March 25 and March 31.

Police said someone tried to remove copper/aluminum from a bathroom of a home on Harmony Road sometime in the past week prior to April 2. The value of the damage to the property was not immediately known.

Acts of criminal mischief were also reported, police said.

At least six juvenile males were seen smashing out the windows on a tool shed on the American Legion Post property at 1537 South Woodbourne Road, according to police. It happened at 1:15 p.m. Saturday. The approximate value of the property damage amounts to $250.  

Police said it happened again at 5:08 p.m. Sunday, when several juveniles were again seen breaking out the windows on the shed at the American Legion Post. The amount of that damage was not immediately known.

The right rear tire of a Nissan Sentra, that was parked on Underwood Road, was slashed, according to police reports. It happened sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday, police said. The value of the tire was not immediately known.

Police said two thefts were also reported.

A Garmin GPS, valued at $200, and various U.S. coins, valued at about $3, were reported stolen from an unlocked 2010 Volvo that was parked at the Langhorne Train Station, police said. It happened sometime between 6:50 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. on Friday.  

Sometime overnight Saturday into Sunday, five pallets of interlocking patio pavers were stolen from the rear of a house on North Woodbourne Road, according to police reports. The approximate value of the pavers is $750.
